This past weekend I had the pleasure of attending the recording sessions of Ripped Tapestry (2019) and Naava (2022) with Jyväskylä Sinfonia and Ville Matvejeff in the beautiful wooden Hankasalmi Church. Together with audio engineer Markku Veijonsuo and producer Per Öman, we sat in the backroom listening with care and communicating our thoughts to the orchestra.

The album consists of Matvejeff’s Violin Concerto (2011), Seaside Rendezvous (2006) and the two works by myself, and will be released on Alba Records in 2024.
