PROGRAMME NOTE
The five movements of Snowscapes attempt to capture some memories of snowy landscapes. When discussing the project with Allison Wang (for whom the piece is written), we discovered our shared love of snow and were equally excited by the idea of a piece responding to various snowy landscapes found both in the US and Finland.
